Team
Alzheimer's disease represents a global challenge that requires a coordinated response. Strengthening efforts by research collaboration and transdisciplinary partnership is the way forward to meet this challenge. That is why TRIAGE is set up within an international group of scientists with complementary expertise.

A data ecosystem
All partners have set up a series of collaborations around the TRIAGE project, expanding the use of our human(ised) models to for instance biomarkers, the testing of antisense oligonucleotide therapy and the testing of novel drugs modifying for example the inflammatory response in microglia.
In parallel, we coordinate with other major initiatives in the field that follow deep-phenotyped Alzheimer's disease cohorts, such as the EPAD (European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia) consortium. This will allow us to gather a much larger amount of clinical, genetic and experimental data. Ultimately, our aim is to build a solid data ecosystem that will enable artificial intelligence approaches to AD risk prediction, monitoring and therapeutic decision making.
